TIMUR is an American, Uzbekistan-born artist. Prior to embracing photography, he began his artistic journey as a fine artist since childhood, and later Art Director in the advertising industry for nearly two decades. Throughout his personal and professional life the unifying thread that connected those various interests was his love and curiosity for human nature. Hence, it was photography that ultimately enabled him to get closest to capturing the fleeting moments of life, the intricacies of expressions and movement, revealing truth and the unvarnished beauty in seemingly ordinary circumstances. Both his fine art and photography were recognized by the industry awards, and can be found in public and private collections.
